Anyone who has tried to use a regular TV or PC monitor for a presentation or interactive class will know the shortcomings of the tech. Luckily Hisense  has been developing the Interactive Digital Boards, display tech that is built from the ground up with the right hardware and software to take on this challenge.

It all starts with the size with 65, 75 and 86 inch variants available. While bigger is usually better these options allow you, the customer, to pick something that suits your space and your wallet without wasting a cent.

Each panel across the Interactive Digital Board range is an LED arrangement with an impressive resolution of 3840 X 2160, high brightness, a typical response time of just 8 milliseconds and the familiar 60 Hz refresh rate. This is everything you can ask for and more, especially for those needing something for the office or class with big windows as the brightness can go up to 400 candela per square metre (cd/m). This isn’t a measurement you see often but you’ll be glad you have it when you’re trying to get that presentation done in the harsh Nigerian afternoons.

Powering all of this is up to an eight-core processor paired with up to 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. These specs mean a speedy experience even with the biggest slideshows or even 4K video, something many other devices can’t match.

For connecting up your devices you’re spoiled for choice. Those who prefer a hardline cable can look forward to connectivity options like HDMI, VGA, USB and more depending on the model. Alternatively go wireless with One Touch Transmission and support for Android, iOS, Windows and Mac. No matter what device you want to hook up, you’re covered here.

And, of course, there’s the touch. Hisense Interactive Digital Boards support a ludicrous twenty simultaneous touches allowing for more than one user to access the board at once. bring up presentation collaborators in the middle of a meeting, create a group art project with a class, get everyone up in front to enjoy the tech. With the possibilities that the Interactive Digital Board creates you will be finding more ways to interact.

This is thanks to the Infrared Touch Frame that allows for impressive accuracy and a writing experience similar to paper when combined with the anti-glare, tempered glass surface. HIDB blue light filters also ensure that everyone in the audience is having their eyes protected, even when right up close to the board.

All these features were added in by Hisense – along with some others like the open Android operating system and split screen – to make a tool that isn’t just repurposed from something else, but designed from day one for the office and classroom alike. The electronics packed inside here also ensures that those who take a liking to new tech will have a field day.
